FINALLY, Grant tells Julia how he feels, but of course we aren’t quite out of the woods yet. Lydia hasn’t given up on trying to tear apart Grant’s life and take Julia out of it, and snatch his company out from under him to boot. I’ve been so invested in this series from the start, and I was so hopeful that we were closing in on HEA with Grant finally opening his heart to Julia instead of holding back his feelings. I won’t get too into details, because I don’t want to risk spoilers, but Steele manages to keep you engaged, and turning pages, while hitting you with twists until you hit the final page. The tension keeps up cover to cover, and the characters feel just as real as they did from the moment we first met them. Honestly, I can’t wait to see what the final installment has waiting! Hopefully, Grant and Julia will finally get their very well-earned HEA.
