Sexy, dark, demon MMC and smart, strong, FMC? Yes please! Watching these two together will have you wishing this wasn’t such a slow burn! It’s clear they’re perfect for each other, and I enjoyed their interactions. Sedell does an excellent job of drawing you into Claire’s unique, and darker side of the world. I loved getting to know her, and watching not only as the attraction between her and The Superior slowly grew, but watching as she worked to track down this particular, mysterious lost soul. The story is engaging and moves along at a smooth pace, and It’s hard to set down once you start. Definitely recommend!
