There’s so much I want to say, and so much I don’t want to spoil; unfortunately, a lot of those things are mutually exclusive! Just in case, if I do slip into spoilers, and you don’t want any, stop reading here, and if you haven’t read book one, go read it then dive into this one. Then you can be just as antsy as I am for book three! While I can’t say I’m terribly surprised certain people didn’t survive the aftermath of book one, I was still devastated by the loss of that character. I’d become so attached to them over the course of the first book. Admittedly, I was delighted to see Laura back, stronger, and darker, than ever. Watching her transform from this sweet, innocent girl into this dark, powerful woman was absolutely amazing. (You definitely wouldn’t want to cross her). But her son, oh my gods, he has a magnetism all his own, and you’ll soon find yourself just as wrapped up in his fairy tale as you were in hers. This book is dark, steamy, and will leave you just as frustrated at the end. I can’t wait for book three!!!
