Dark and steamy, just like my coffee, and a wonderful treat to read. When I say dark, I mean it can get really dark. But the characters feel real, and will stick around long after you’ve finished reading. I do appreciate the glossary at the beginning, which covers names of places and slang that American readers may be unfamiliar with. While I knew some of the terms covered, I didn’t know all of them. What killed me is just how slow burn it is! I was dying to see our two very grumpy MCs get together finally. I do want to mention this has great, healthy kink representation (even if those kinks aren’t your cup of tea). If you like dark and kinky slow burn romances, then you want to grab this yesterday!
