I have never wanted to both applaud and strangle an author more in my life. There’s so much I want to say, but they’d all be spoiler-y, and I prefer to avoid that in my reviews when possible. I just don’t know how I’ve become so invested in these characters, these lives, and how my emotions can get so wrapped up in these books. My heart was in my throat, and racing so fast, I got a stress warning from my smartwatch while reading this. I sat down, and flew through it in one sitting, because I just had to know what was going to happen next. That ending… I need to read book four, but I also know I’ll be really sad to leave Winnie and the boys behind. Hopefully book four doesn’t rip out my heart when I read it.
