This was an amazing, unique fantasy, and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for something new to read. Hewitt did a great job bringing the story to life, it was like watching a movie unfold before my eyes. The characters have a lot of depth, and even the supernatural/paranormal ones feel so real you’d expect to be able to run into them irl. The story moves along smoothly, and has enough twists that you can never be totally sure you know where it’s taking you next. Unfortunately, this will leave you wanting more – that cliffhanger is a killer, and I can’t wait for book two!
