I was so excited to dive into another Angela Hardwicke mystery. I’ve come to love her as a character over the last two books, and this latest installment didn’t disappoint. If you’re new to the series, this is old school pulp fiction PI book meets urban sci-fi. While you can read it as a standalone, you’ll find things have a bit more depth with the background of books one and two. On to this story – I got so invested in the plot from the start, I didn’t want to put it down for one moment. Murder, real estate, and a questionable will combine with unforgettable characters to make an engaging mystery. Perfect for those who like me enjoy the old pulp books, mysteries, or sci-fi books!
About the Author
Russ Colchamiro is the author of the rollicking space adventure, Crossline, the zany SF/F backpacking comedy series Finders Keepers: The Definitive Edition, Genius de Milo, and Astropalooza, and is editor of the SF anthology Love, Murder & Mayhem, all with Crazy 8 Press.
Russ lives in New Jersey with his wife, two ninjas, and crazy dog Simon, who may in fact be an alien himself.
