AURA: Revive Edition
Sci-Fi & Fantasy

by Krisley Jior Castillo
Aura tells the story of Ren – a 16 year old boy who lived in the kingdom of Zinah. He lived a normal life until the 21st of May, 947. On that day, a peace treaty between Zinah and the tyrannical kingdom of Gaia was to be signed, but instead of a peaceful resolution, the day ended in destruction. The Gaians destroyed anything in sight and killed countless innocents. Ren was able to escape the horrors and found himself in a neighbor kingdom – the kingdom of Praganja.
Having lost his friends, his home, and his family, he sets out for revenge against Gaia, but instead, he found himself in a situation much deeper and darker than he expected. Ren’s quest for revenge is now also a quest for answers, and the more he finds, the more danger he puts himself in. Zinah’s destruction was just a small part of a much more sinister plan, and Ren is the only one with the power to stop them for good.

AURA: Revive Edition will pull you in from the start. If you’re a fan of anime, you’re going to fall in love with this book from the outset. I felt like I was stepping into a great story with memorable characters. Castillo does a great job with the characters and storyline, weaving together an interesting tale you won’t want to stop reading. I look forward to book two!

About the Author
Hi! I.M.Krisley. See what I did there? Ehem, Krisley Jior Castillo, to be exact.
I’m a pianist and composer, inspired mainly by classical pianists such as Chopin and Liszt, but also by J-pop, anime, and video games.
I like to challenge myself and make compositions that are technically and physically challenging, sometimes to the extreme! I also occasionally cover anime songs
I also draw! Since my compositions (and covers) sometimes take a long time to finish and practice, I let out my other passion and make speedpaints! Also because it’s so satisfying to see what I drew being drawn super fast,
Also, did I mention I’m a novelist? I’m the author of Aura: How could you go on when you’ve lost everything? If you like dark fantasy, mystery, and war stories, give it a read!
If you’re interested in seeing me make my imaginative flights of fancy into a piano piece or an artwork, subscribe to my YouTube!
