I’ve loved getting to know Cara over the previous two books, and I was excited to see what new adventure was waiting in this installment. This time there’s a darker entity on the horizon, and while their motivations may be good, their actions are less so. This is a bit darker than the previous two installments (but with the title, that’s not much of a surprise). I was so excited to see Cara and Rhys working together (and no spoilers, but if you read books one and two, you’re probably hoping they finally just get together too)! If you’re looking for an engaging fantasy, grab this and start reading today!
