REVIEW
5 out of 5
There are a lot of self-help books out there, and I’ve encountered ones that run the gamut from helpful to toxic, and this solidly falls on the helpful side. If you’ve ever struggled with your sense of self and self-worth, you know that there’s some very unhelpful platitudes people love to repeat over and over. This book deviates from that – it’s easy to read, understand, and is written in a way that doesn’t feel condescending or empty in the slightest. I’ve used some of these techniques before and found them helpful, and discovered some new ones that I’m looking forward to trying. This isn’t super new-agey either, so if you’re not into overtly spiritual things, but want to work on improving your inner life, then I highly recommend grabbing this book.
