Frost giants, a fake princess, a determined FMC, high stakes, and some unexpected love are what you’ll find within these pages, and it’s a story you won’t soon forget! Kay really brings the whole world to life, you feel like you’re standing right there, watching it all unfold. My heart really went out to Dahlia, how hard she works to survive and keep her brother safe, even though he seems to get into trouble despite her efforts. Neve is an interesting character in his own right, and he definitely finds a way into your heart as he and Dahlia become closer. The slow burn might drive you a little crazy, but the payoff is totally worth the wait! The story has a good pace, and the tension helps pull you from page to page, just wanting to know what will happen next. If you’re a romantasy lover, you need this book in your life!
