Not what I was expecting – steamy, smart, and interesting, this is more than your typical steamy romance. Ashley and Luke come from such different worlds, but it’s lust at first sight…at least for Ashley. I loved following Ashley’s internal conflict, it made her feel more real. Life isn’t always black and white, and Luke definitely brings a major gray area into her world. Getting to know both Luke and Ashley was a fun ride, and I love the way Luke was described. You can almost hear and smell him the way Woods describes him in detail. The story itself has some twists, and will keep you engaged from start to finish. I’m curious to see where book two will take us.
