Dark and steamy? Yes please! This had amazing characters, a complex plot, and scenes that will make you want to lose a few layers of clothing. The only problem? It ends in a cliffhanger! (Seriously, Brenner, how could you do that to us?) There was so much tension…and not just the sexy kind. Kara is an amazing heroine, strong, smart, and stubborn. Conor, Micah and Luke are just… I have no words, but I wouldn’t mind a little alone time with them, let’s put it that way. An excellent, dark, thrilling romance with a whole set of guys to add to your book boyfriends list! Now, how long do I have to wait for the sequel?

            Kara’s voice was low and throaty, an intentional siren song.

            “Fucking touch me, I dare you.”

            Interesting.

            “Dare us?” Micah asked, rising to his feet, aware his cock was jutting out at her. She’d had trouble taking his cock that night he’d fucked her in New Orleans, but she’d wanted it so he’d made her anyway, and she’d come so hard she’d nearly passed out.

            Kara took a step back before stopping and holding her ground.
